On an Optus satellite ISP. Here is what I get from a 3Mb test today
Your line speed is 472 kbps (0.47 Mbps).
Your download speed is 59 KB/s (0.06 MB/s).
On my plan it says I shoud be getting/am getting 1024/256
All too technical for me - can anyone tell me am I getting what I should be and is the speed reasonable? Seems awfully damn slow to me at the moment
Thanks
Meegan
Telstra are terrible, i suppose to be gettin 1500 kbps, instead its running just faster than dial-up, its like my internet is still slowed from going over my download the month before.
We are a couple of kms from the local exchange, with Telstra ADSL and getting at varying times between -
line speed 39 Kbps - download 5 Kbps and 1.1 Mbps - download 156 Kbps
Our 'plan' says we should get 1500 Kbps.
Worst of all is Telstra's inability to figure out what the problem is. They have a long way to go to fulfil the new Exec promise to turn Telsra into a customer service giant!
TPG ADSL+2 up to 1.5kms from exchange(it's right around the corner) it says speeds up to 17217kbps but still haven't seen that speed. I guess it is alot better than what some are people are getting....

I pay for an ADSL 2 connection at 512kps and get somewhere between 56kbps and 256kps depending in which way the wind is blowing. How come ISP's can charge for services that they don't deliver. If you can't provide the speed that I am paying for then give me my money back! Chariot on the Telstra network: (It is far beyond a joke)

For 13 years I have been paying for ADSL2 and Telstra tells me my only hope is to contact local politicians. The 400 houses in my Bridgeman Downs estate all cop this third world treatment. Can anyone beat this performance, just 1.5kms from the exchange?

One of the first questions BigPond ask when you finally get to talk to a consultant is: "What brand of modem do you have?" If it's not the one they sell (at an inflated price) then you get no technical help at all. They don't want to know you. I am finally getting some action (I think) by threatening to go to the Ombudsman and the media. My problem: I am paying for ADSL2+ but I found out I haven't even been hooked up to it at the local exchange. All that is SUPPOSED to change today.
I live in Rockingham WA.
I signed up on 22/12/2009 for ADSL2+ the Telstra "New Home Bundle."
My previous ADSL was disconnected on this date, a week with out Internet. (SNARL)
The new ADSL2+ Modem arrived the following week.
When connected my download varied between 32kb/s & 85 kb/s.
Repeated phonecalls to 133933 finally resulted in a Telstra technician coming to my home.
Line checked out OK.
Another technician arrived today and found there was a program problem regarding my line??
I am now getting better than dial up speeds (details below) but no where near what some of you people are complaining about.
Will be contacting the Tech people again.

When are the telco's going to stop their lies??
At another house (further from the exchange)on ADSL2 20000 plan was connecting at 16000 and Telstra have the hide to say it's my equipment??? What a joke !!!
There seems to be a lot of Telstra bashing going on here, and while I'm not trying to be pro-Telstra, I get a distinct feeling a lot of those complaining either:
1) don't understand how ADSL2+ works
2) or are completely oblivious to any internal factors that could be causing slow problems, such as a) bad wiring, b) constantly running P2P software, c) slow PC's, d) or even using a slow wireless connection.
And if it is one of these factors slowing you down, changing ISP's will not resolve the issue.
But, if you all still feel so strongly about this issue, make sure you fill out the broadband survey. Let your voice be heard. This is the most comprehensive survey from broadband users in Australia each year, and the media and telco's pay attention to the results.
I am with gotalk and on an ADSL2+ 20000 plan. I am less than two KLM's from the exchange and have been getting line speeds of between 50 Kb/s and 4.2 Mb/s I have never been close to the speed they advertised when I joined. After several months of complaing to them about this they decided to prove that the problem was in fact my equipment and not their problem, so they sent around a Telecom tech to check out the situation. The results from the tech were that there was no problem with my equipment and after checking every thing in the exchange and the line from there to my home and all my stuff, he told me that in his opinion there was some one at my ISP changing the settings at a whim, he went on to tell me that the distance from the exchange and the number of users on the service does not affect the line speed and you should get the same speed 10KLM's from the exchange as someone living 10M from the exchange. After all DC electric pulses travel much further then AC before needing to be boostered. I have had some of my concerns sorted out but the line speed is still a worry, I very rarely get 4 Mb/s when I should be getting around 20Mb/s. Some of the problems do come from unmaintained computers and maybe bad wiring, but that should be very rare as most things are plug and play nowa days, I still think that most of the problems people face with the telcos is that there really is no regulation of the industry so why would they go out of their way to supply a good system for the public when they can pocket that money. We are the 29th slowest Country in the IT Industry on the planet, considering we are very wealth as far as Nations go we should be up in the top 10 atleast. If they were really serious about supplying a great service and not only concentrating on their bottom line thats where we would be. Just my two cents.
My speed on my internet was slow too until I used 'SG TCP Optimizer" a free 0.5 mb program I downloaded from Cnet.
I simply chose "optimal settigs" on the first tab, (used the backup feature and set a system restore point just in case.)
AWESOME!!! My desktop speed test went from 5.8Mb/s to 14.2mb/s...
On my wireless laptop I TRIPLED the speed test...yes tripled.
So what I am saying is maybe it is not always the provider that is at fault.
Worth a try to anyone who si not getting what they hoped for.

This is SLOWER than before changing to Telstra's 8000/384 plan.
My previous plan was 1500/256 with Telstra so same equipment (my end),same lines, same exchange. It is obvious they are the problem not me or my equipment.
BTW what's to understand about how ADSL2+ works? When a rep tells you that the connection will be faster, and also by advertising the connection speed ie: 8000/384 or 20000/1000.
Are we not justified in giving them a "bash" to provide what they state?
Think there's a term for that isn't it called false advertising?
Graham, I don't disagree with you, I was just trying to point out that there are often other factors involved when someone thinks they are getting crap speed.
What the rep told you in this case may not be true. It is a little deceptive, and possibly false advertising, as ADSL 8000kbps and ADSL2+ 20000kbps plans can now only be advertised as "up to" those speeds, with the minimum guaranteed speed being 1500kbps (which you were previously on).
This new "up to" speed advertising was put in place by the ACCC for consumers exactly like you, who thought if they were paying for 8000kbps they would get 8000kbps.
Unfortunately, as harry 2000 point out below, the speed you can obtain depends on the quality of the line, and your distance from the exchange.
My last place I was on iiNet ADSL2+, but my telephone line was 3.5KM away from the exchange, so I could only get ~6000kbps. My current place I am about 1.5KM away and get ~16000kbps.
It is exactly this problem that the NBN should help fix.
adsl 2 on phone lines longer than 2k to the exchange will always be half or less than the advertised speeds as the technology is incapable of doing any better. Bigpond knowingly sell a flawed product as their phone lines are going all over the place to get to the exchange . Mine goes 3.2k to cover a 1.2k direct route , going thru numerous junctions & pits filled with water after rain. The issue is we only find out the deficiencies after using adsl2. I got 8000 on adsl1+ but now get 5,000 !

This pathetic speed is supposed to be 8000/384. It's occasionally creeps up to 1300kbps, but it falls back to 300-500kbps. I'm currently in talks with Telstra in regards to their slow connection speeds, I'm 2.5k's from the exchange & apparently there are not enough ports at my exchange & this is causing the slow speeds.
An interesting statement on Telstra's webpage about connection speeds.
Quote- "About 70% of customers on the 8000kbps plan can access speeds around 6Mbps or more. About 50% of customers on the 20000kbps plan can access speeds around 10Mbps or more."
Wonder how true these figures are.
Looks like there are alot of the 30%er's in here!!
Another interesting thing is that when i check the connection speed in my modem i get-
Data Rate 4384 kbps down and 832 kbps up.
Im on the 8000/384 plan.
So why is it that while my up load speed is more than twice the speed they say, the down load is just over half the speed they say?
Same equipment same lines same exchange for up and down.
James said: "..he told me that in his opinion there was some one at my ISP changing the settings at a whim". I am sure that this is behind most of the broadband speed issues. After posts on this page about pathetic Optus DSL Direct speed of 0.36 Mbps at only 1km from North Sydney exchange, my speed has suddenly jumped to 12 Mbps! Nothing else has changed, just the guy twiddling the knobs at Optus.
By the way, am I missing something? Where do I complete the Broadband Survey?
Attempting to upgrade to ADSL2+ on the Crace exchange (Canberra) has resulted in a final outcome of an 8MBps plan --- Crace, a notoriously 'problematic for everything' facility, is incapable of an ADSL2+ offering, apparently. We're achieving 3.5MBps at best and usually no more than 1500KBps. Worst of all is the technical support (not) from the thieves who sell this garbage.
My speed on my internet was slow too until I used 'SG TCP Optimizer" a free 0.5 mb program I downloaded from Cnet.

My laptop was a clean install but obviously not set up right.
Have you tried it out?..it would be interesting to see the results.
TCP Optimizer is only good for old network cards, doesn't support new 1GB cards today..so please give rest..software just fails..
I find Interesting HOW theoretical speed VS actual speed is causing lot of problems within Australia, ISP telling new customer u can get 24MB on line and when they connected only mange not 1% of that speed..ISP need to be regulated Properly and with TELSTRA ISSUE..
my belief Australia ISP won't have Fair go with new network installed when Telstra think they owned Country and actually are main causes of broadband issue today!!!!!!!!!!
"it is exactly this problem that the NBN should help fix." Yes its technically better but how do you wire up all the older apartment/multiple dwellings across common property & into rooms say 3 storeys up without a cost of around $2000 per install. There are no trenches, pits & utility rooms .My Body-Corporate will not allow individual installations. I think there are 5 million people , potential customers for NBN in multiple dwellings ? I tried to get CABLE but Bigpond could not install that so how would i get NBN ?
By now everyone has been educated by their ISP's to only expect a fraction of the advertised speeds. The standard response to complaints being"Oh well that's pretty good considering the distance you are from the exchange"
The cost of your broadband plan should be your average line speed as a percentage of advertised line speed X the plan advertised price. that is a tenth of the speed a tenth of the price. There would be either a huge effort to improve speeds to the end users by all ISP's or they would be less deceitful in advising advertised speeds.I also agree with Don's comment that Telstra remain the fly in the ointment and should be removed from the equation. They are an arrogant and inefficient organization that have held Australia back.
Here Here!! I agree whole heartedly with Ozetwo. That would go along way to solving alot of the hardship and problems surroundiing the client company relationship within the Telco Industry in this Country.
Another thing they could do to help is if the distance from the exchange to the clients computer is a fator in the line speed attainble then they could or should feed us from the closest exchange. For instance I have an exchange 991 metres frm my address that has 1385.6 metres of cable running from there past my house, but I am being fed from an exchange that is 2345 metres from me and has over 6000 metres of cable to get to my computer. It doesn't take a three year old very long to work out which exchange would be better to use.
i am the victim of this speed issue already. I signed up with Gotalk for my naked DSL and since then i have problem. Gotalk took the line from Optus and i can only achieve 1.5Mb/s. even though i should get close to 20mb/s(as per gotalk itself). i am not sure who to blame here. i call everyday to my provider Gotalk and they do the line test and send the report whoever they send it to and the result next day is the same.
well as read all the posts these issues should be more published. as more people complain will shame these providers and any new customer wanting to change their providers will see who is providing good speed and service.
wait i need to make a call to Gotalk for the complaint........
I am struggling to comprehend the Australia we live in today. I live in an inner suburb of Adelaide and am with Telstra on a $129.95 per month plan which should deliver 1500/256 speed and my true speed at the line is 34kbps and my peak is 10kbps averaging 3kbps. Can anyone explain how our government or anybody else in a position to make a difference thinks this is acceptable. I am a professional person and need to live in this century to function. Telstra's own people seem to have the ' oh thats terrible reaction' to my plight but stand impotent to any fix. Kevin Rudd, Mike (pathetic) Rann it is time Australians joined the 1st world with a high speed realistically costed service that delivers. I am thinking it may be time to seek legal advice, maybe a class action against ISPs whose promise and contracts fail to deliver anything resembling acceptable useful access to the information super highway. ps: by the way Kev where is my daughters laptop??
I live in Perth and am with Telstra on a $89.95 per month plan which should give me 8000/384 speed but most of the time it is averaging 520/60 and has gone as low as 85/11. This has been going on for over a year now and no matter how many times I have upgraded, it's still the same. I have made dozens of complaints, each time their excuse is that their lines are congested and there is nothing they can do about it. Why should we be paying for a service that they are not providing?? I've thought about changing ISP's but I doubt it will make much difference. Class action sounds great..
I think that the biggest difference I can see with changing ISP would be the price you pay for a service that can not be delivered. Telstra changes the most for the least service. Their smallest plan that I have seen starts at $120 per month where as most other reseller ISPs changes start at around $50 per month. Congestion, I believe is the largest excuse they can find to cover their obvious fraud of charging high prices for a service they already knew they could not provide, if they were serious about providing a service for their customers they find the areas that have large consumer usage and either extend the exchange so that it can easily handle the load or better still build new exchanges in the area and make sure that all houses were connected to the nearest exchange using the shorest length of cable which would mean that the cable also had the least amount of joins in it between the house and exchange which is the second most commonly used excuse for the quality of the service. This would get rid of the congestion the complaints and the lack of quality. In my honest opinion.
I have using an adsl2+ plan from Gotalk. As the length of the cable from the exchange to your house is the major factor in the delivery and quality of the service, I am connected to an exchange that is situated 2.4 Kms from my home and there is about 4Kms of cable that connects my home to this exchange, this is governed by Telstra, they decide which exchange to connect your telephone to then when you sign up with any ISP which are really resellers of the service either from Telstra or Optus (which is a reseller for Telstra) they can only connect your internet to which ever exchange your telephone is connected to. There is an exchange 991M from my home and has about 1400M of cable from it to my home which according to adsl2exchanges.com.au when I do a search of my address would give me between 16Mb/s and 17Mb/s line speed but are we allowed to connect to the better exchange ( I think not) it's impossible according to every ISP that I have asked about. If the Government made Telstra allow the resllers to choose which exchange the customer could connect to every one would get the speeds they deserve and need in these times of high performance and technology. But I guess that solution would be too easy to impliment for the brainiacs that run the show.
telstra need to pull there finger out and fix this problem i live right next to there exchange i can throw rocks at it for 2 years now i been on $80.00 12g 1500mbps plan as they keep telling that is the best i can get up here speed is about 1300mbps 30% of the time but when it rains i get

I changed back to the adsl 8000Kb/s service and for the past two days, since the service was changed, I have been getting a constant 3 to 4Mb/s 24 hrs a day. I hope this lasts becaus eI like it and it took two years of bitching and complaing to my ISP and using the TIO to threaten them to finally find a tech that seemed to know what he was talking about and spend some time trying to suit it all out. So a very big well done to Rob from Gotalk.
Maybe some of you that are having so much trouble with the adsl2+ service might think about going to the 8000Kb/s service, I find its a better solution for less money.
Food for thought.
We are connected to the Wyong NSW exchange through DODO on the 8mb/s plan. The majority of a 24 hour period the service is hopeless. I am able to reach acceptable download/upload rates but the ping is extremely high. I tested servers located 100kms away with results in excess of 500ms when it should average about 50ms. I chose the adsl service for Xbox live gaming and with a Ping that high, good download rates are pointless. We have contacted Telstra and its the same old story over and over again..."your download rates are within acceptable allowances sir". The current government need to improve their abilities to stick to their word. I recall Mr Rudds election campaign involving faster broadband for the nation. Where is it Mr Rudd?? You wont be getting my vote next time.
I live in West Melbourne and was recently contacted by Telstra to upgrade my internet plan.
My existing plan was the BigPond ADSL Liberty (12GB) 1500/256 where my connection reached the dizzy heights of about 120kb/s download speed, with the wind behind it. Imagine my excitement to be offered ADSL2.

The internet is pretty expensive in Australia. Telstra's ability to get away with such an absolutely woeful service is breathtaking. If you contact Telstra and complain they are simply not interested and suggest technical fixes that my mother would find embarrassingly irrelevant. Australia is a great country. Why do we have amongst the worst internet performance in the world and yet at such high prices?
Kevin... Kevin. Are you listening? You certainly talk a good game.
I live in a suburb of Perth (Rockingham) and am unable to access broadband other than wirelessly or through satellite.I started a Vodafone Mobile Broadband 12 month contract in late December and consistently had low download speeds: kpbs from 51 and 47 to 17 and as low as 8! Meanwhile my upload speeds ranged from the highest at Mbps 0.11, 0.07, 0.01 and even 0.0 on one test. I made numerous complaints. It became obvious it was a coverage issue. I then contacted the Telecommunication Industries Ombudsman, who took my details, gave me a Complaints Resolution number at Vodafone (set up for Ombudsman complaints) and after chatting to Vodafone for two minutes they did the right thing and allowed me to exit the contract, with compensation. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the next service provider could be any better. The TIO may be a productive avenue for those who feel their providers are not delivering their end of the contract.
If the internet blocking filter & legislation to restrict downloading is successful in limiting internet use it is possible the majority of users would trim thier ISP accounts to minimum download limits & cost which would in Bigponds case halve their gross internet revenue. Speed would become less important & also mean that the NBN would be redundant .
i wish i could contact senator conroy and ask why did i have to change my server who i had been with for 8 yrs and switch to "tpg" in january 2010 simply because my local exchange does not allow "netspace" facilities to use adsl2+ (whatever happened to freedom of choice)
so i went to "tpg " on a plan that offered 22,000 mbps ive had to ring "tpg"3 times in 6 weeks about erratic internet.
they said on the last call that they had detected a fault on my phone line and were going to contact telstra.just out of curiosity i rang telstra to request a phone line check
all i got was a spiel that i should sign up to broadband , when i said "broadband" is too expensive the reply was "its not the cost ,its the quality" so i did 6 speed tests
results were im getting download speed highest 1139 kbps lowest 682kbps
upload speed highest 3046 kbps lowest 1655kbps
so somewhere in that 1.7 klm from the local exchange im losing about 22,000 mbps what a joke

Complaining about internet speed is like complaining about low water pressure. The problem is not about technology but about politics and social reliance on the government providing progress. No matter how clear the evidence is to the opposite society is afraid to venture towards true freedom. The cost of the hardware needed to blanket this continent is a drop in the bucket but we are dependent on ministers who only want to control. Internet is a bad joke and it just gets worse. Observe the red shift as the world of business and entertainment move off else where into the future. Get the government out of the equation and release the shackles that hold it back. End the Telstra monopoly and open the market. Ever wonder why ISP services are not available via coax cable while we fumble with twisted pairs and DSL? the state of broadband in australia? well we rank No 71 on the world and about 15 steps higher then use is NZ LOL.....
That in my books makes us pretty bad, but seriously our speeds are bening caped because they dont want us to become servers etc. our down load speed should equal our upload speed but it dont for that exact reason..
IN my latest conversation with optus i have been told that i can double my download speed x2 and my upload speed by 2x IF i upgrade to the 90g plan :P
Well as tempting as it is, my unlimited plan on 60G should be not bad "IF" as optus boasts i get 10gbs . Well im actualy doing less then 10% of that im geting 1.1 gbs about the same as they doodes themselfs at the optus station LOL.. as for the upload speed there is no reason why its so rediculously slow only the setings at the local server :(
What i find funny is .. OPTUS offers me a higher plan more down load and more speed for more money and longer contracts.. fact is i would be happy with half of there promised down load and upload speed.. be it 5 gbs download and 500 upload ^^ i dont just think they is a rip off ... THIS is a rip off and be injustice to all the borad band users out there who are paying good money for a product they are not geting.
I live in Port Macquarie, Mid N coast NSW. My speed is 1.35 Mbps / 169 KB/s when it's working. But it drops in and out constantly. I stayed recently in Auckland and saw how fantastic their BB is! The pages changed in a second every single time I used it over 10 days (and apparently this is normal). And they moan about restricted speeds! What a relief it was to surf again. I pay Big Pond $69.90 per month and I am disgusted and incredibly frustrated. Most of the time I cannot use it. When I have to send important emails etc it can take an hour for a short email. When is the Govt gonna drag the Telcos to the table and stop the extortion? It seems that white collar crime is immune.

Well people these are my results from Dodo and i do actually get this speed, the only thing with Dodo is you must stipulate you wish to deal with the Australian centre not the Phillipino one!!!
Broadband speed being over Caped in Australia, this is really bad... The speed restrictions are outrageously low. The excuses I am given, more lame... to me Optus claimed the speed is low because there are many people on line at the same time, and that if there were less people on line then it would sure increase my speed... Naturally I had to test this theory myself. So i logged in my computer and performed an upload and download test at 1am Monday morning ... Test result was the same as any other normal day, so to me Optus you FAIL. I feel Optus Broadband is taking money under false pretenses, definitely not delivering what they are promising.

Supposed to be 8000/384 on a $89.95 per month plan. I'm so sick of this crap! I've complained so many times and each time they tell me they are trying to fix the problem.. well I'm sorry but maybe I'll TRY and pay their bill when they give me the frikken service I'm paying for! I'm sure they would start fixing the problem if everybody refused to pay their bills!
Yeah I've complained about this crap too, I'm on the same plan as you, here are my results for the last 3 days:
4/3/10 at 10.47pm - line speed 1.68MB/s, download spead 210 KB/s
5/3/10 at 8.35pm - line speed 3.77MB/s, download speed 471 KB/s (This is the best result I have ever received)
6/3/10 at 1.46pm - line speed 1.37MB/s, download speed 171 KB/s
I wrote to Telstra a couple of days ago and basically put to them that if they don't sort it out in a week, I will be complaining to the telecommunications ombudsman. We are not getting what we paid for. The service is intermittent, most of the time slow (with periods of fast), and frequent loss of connection.

2.8Km from the exchange. Fusion $99 plan.
Next door is on the same plan and the speed is significantly better. I guess it is to do with the pairing? We have 3 lines going in , only using 2 . Maybe if we switched the line it would be as good as next door.
Given the other results in the survey I guess I should be thankful!!
I am 2.9 km from exchange by the cable run (verified by TDR testing)ADSL2+ optus fusion 99, here are my results.
I have used the internode mirror as it is located in Adelaide if i use the Optusnet mirror that is located in Melbourne I lose about 2.5mbits of speed ( limited B/W on the IOF link from Adel-Melb me thinks) Hmmm interesting...

I spent several hours last week on 3 separate evenings online to a call centre in India, trying to improve my internet speed. My son had been complaining about it for weeks, but not until I was trying to watch some tutorials on my brand new Mac did I understand his frustration. After 3 calls to their techniciaons, I have been told it is the transmitter. I have had one follow up email, which offered nothing and as yet no reply to my second email. I will send another email tonight and then after it is the ombudsman. They get $109 per month off me and I am not getting a fair crack at the whip.
In the past week I have had as low as .45mbps download and .26 upload. Test a few minutes ago was 1.89mbps download. My mother paying $29 per month tested 14.45mbps in Cleveland, it is possible, but it seems not in my house!

1) don't understand how ADSL2+ works
2) or are completely oblivious to any internal factors that could be causing slow problems, such as a) bad wiring, b) constantly running P2P software, c) slow PC's, d) or even using a slow wireless connection.
And if it is one of these factors slowing you down, changing ISP's will not resolve the issue.
But, if you all still feel so strongly about this issue, make sure you fill out the broadband survey. Let your voice be heard. This is the most comprehensive survey from broadband users in Australia each year, and the media and telco's pay attention to the results.

Reply
on 22/01/10
What the rep told you in this case may not be true.

"Congratulations! We are writing to you to confirm that your BigPond Broadband ADSL service plan change has successfully been completed. You can now connect your BigPond service.
The new plan you've chosen is BigPond Elite Liberty* (12GB) - ADSL 2+."

they said on the last call that they had detected a fault on my phone line and were going to contact telstra.just out of curiosity i rang telstra to request a phone line check
all i got was a spiel that i should sign up to broadband , when i said "broadband" is too expensive the reply was "its not the cost ,its the quality" so i did 6 speed tests
results were im getting download speed highest 1139 kbps lowest 682kbps
upload speed highest 3046 kbps lowest 1655kbps
so somewhere in that 1.7 klm from the local exchange im losing about 22,000 mbps what a joke

5/3/10 at 8.35pm - line speed 3.77MB/s, download speed 471 KB/s (This is the best result I have ever received)

I wrote to Telstra a couple of days ago and basically put to them that if they don't sort it out in a week, I will be complaining to the telecommunications ombudsman. We are not getting what we paid for. The service is intermittent, most of the time slow (with periods of fast), and frequent loss of connection.
I'm over it too :D

2.8Km from the exchange. Fusion $99 plan.
Next door is on the same plan and the speed is significantly better. I guess it is to do with the pairing? We have 3 lines going in , only using 2 . Maybe if we switched the line it would be as good as next door.
Given the other results in the survey I guess I should be thankful!!

In the past week I have had as low as .45mbps download and .26 upload. Test a few minutes ago was 1.89mbps download. My mother paying $29 per month tested 14.45mbps in Cleveland, it is possible, but it seems not in my house!
